My Daily Commute

It's a rough life, but someone has to do it. Thought that some of you folks out there in the world might like to see the kind of daily commute we have around here.

starting out on the lonely road
8:35 - Setting out down the road. The quiet is deafing.
looking north
8:36 - The view to the north.
sunflowers in the community garden
8:39 - Walking past the community garden, I notice that the sunflowers seem to have the upper hand.
Heavy traffic
8:43 - Approaching downtown Kaslo, I encounter heavy traffic.
Alternate route.
8:44 - Other paths beckon, but I stick to my main route.
Almost there.
8:47 - Just one more block to go.

8:48 - Just crossed the main street before the rush minute traffic jam.
Back lane
8:49 - Next right and I'm there.
arriving at the office
8:50 - After a grueling 15 minute walk, I arrive at work.
